Hi, The project involves staged development of an e-commerce site for an education-based product. 1st stage: At this stage, the site is basically a knowledge repositiory for a certain subject matter and not an e-commerce site. On signup, the complementary/free products available to registered users will be podcasts & screencasts. The site will also require a forum and a blog and would need to be integrated with various social media(FB, Twitter). A custom application required will be a study schedule planner for registered users. 2nd stage: On a given date, the site will evolve to the e-commerce mode offering the education product procuct(s) with no change in basic design. On the security front, the site would need to be SSL certified (verisign) and the payment system needs to be linked to all major payment gateways(credit, debit, paypal). The cost of the SSL certificate will be borne by me. I have an idea of the broad UI that would be implemented as well as the custom layout and colour schema that needs to be incorporated. There are also sample sites that could be looked at for reference as the product would be similar. I need to be told what format this information would need to be provided in(PSD etc.). Since the main purpose of my site would be commercial, I would require to test the e-commerce application deployment(preferably osCommerce). A standard NDA would be required to be signed prior to beginning the project. I am completely impartial to the techology used in coding the site as long as it serves the purpose.
