we have a oscommerce based (CRELoaded) ecommerce web site (www.grille4u.com). There are couple of things we wanted. In high level: 1. build and configure a new web site using magento install and configure a magento web site migrate most of data ( mainly products / categories / customer / order etc) from our existing grille4u.com to this new magento site minor customization on the template to reflect this car accessory web site (we already have template in mind) Payment: Paypal and Google checkout Shipment: Free shipping Checkout: can checkout without register an account Magento already has built-in or modules for these. The major challenge is the data migration, which Magento also have script for that. 2. Our grille4u needs various improvement categories: make the categories in left side to be a dropdown (fly-out) style. (using one of oscommerce module or if you have better idea.) make the home page fast ( either use cache or other method) search result page redo We are an established consulting firm located in Vancouver, Canada and have clients in both US and Canada. We are very interested in candidates with PHP open source experience and strong background with osCommerce (ZenCart, CRELoaded ..). Know Magento, PHP OO programing, Java is huge plus. Design and graphic skill is big plus. Please give us your portfolio url and describe your experience when bids. We are looking for a long term cooperation. We will do knowledge transfer once we pick the bid, that will speed up your development. Newly added descriptions: Just want to clarify that requirement 2: our current site grille4u.com is based on CRELoaded ( a fork of oscommerce), we first need to make a lot of improvement on that site.
