I would like to build a live GPS tracking website. This site is used to track GPS vehicle trackers,personal trackers, mobile phones (symmbian, win mobile), vehicle management (ie engine start stop, temp, pressure, hook drop etc). Currently there are ready made web site available for tracking such as: http:\\free.3dtracking.net and www.onertrack.com; username:test password:1 there is also an open source GPS tracking software www.opengts.org but this software was implemented in Java unfrotunally our website doesn't support apache tomcat wich is necessairy to run this software we need a software that run on a window server using Asp.net we prefer visualbasic the programinglanguage but C willdo aswell,and Ms SQL or my SQL for database you can use the Open_Gts as starting base forthis project you will need some experience aswell in HTTP based communication servers and Raw Socket based communication server especially the last one as most of our tracking devices will send messages to the server using a socket-based communication protocol, (TCP/UDP) you will have to work on some of our trackers to make them support this tracking software we will provide the gps data protocol for the tracking devices. we prefer someone who already worked on similair project as this will make it easier for the project and Due to our budget constraint, we dont mind to use your current ready made available software experience required to complete the project: Asp.net ajax VB or C MsSQL or mySQL TCP/IP XML ....etc if you need any information please feel free to contact us. |
