| Project Description:
After being let down by another programmer I need someone who is highly professional to complete a project for me within 7 days (with a 3 day contingency). Tell me honestly if you feel it would take you more time (and how long you would need). I have a Blog which I power with Wordpress, using a template called Thesis version 1.5.1. I have a gallery with NextGEN Gallery Plug-in 1.3.5 (I am guessing you will need to understand Wordpress and NextGEN to do this project!). I am implementing a Gallery page on my blog which is powered by NextGEN Gallery (although if you can think of a better gallery to use I am open to suggestions). What I need building is 2 search boxes: 1. The first search box will be present on the home page (replacing the current blog search box) that lets the vistior search either for POSTS, IMAGES or BOTH selected with radio buttons or something similar. The images button refers to the only the images found in the NextGEN Gallery which are in designated folders. 2. The second search box (searching for images only) should be present on the NextGEN Gallery Page so that people can just look for a particular image whilst on there. 3. The images, when they are selected should open up onto a new page ??and have a few fuctions: - A star rating feature (1 to 5 stars) - Email to a friend link (so someone can email a picture to a friend if they want to share it) - Request to use (so someone can email me and ask if they can use the image on their own website). - In these last two options (email to a friend and request to use, automated emails need to be set up) 4. Finally there needs to be a compare colours function ??I am not 100% sure as to how this should be, but it should be so that the person viewing can look at 2 ??4 images side by side and compare how they look next to each other. All the images are .jpegs and are named according to what they are and are key worded with metadata. Please bear this in mind when you do your search. Please let me know your proposal, experience, timeframe, costs and any additional ideas you may have for this project to get it done asap.
