Foxpro based language learning/training/testing program.. Ability to build a fairly unlimited database of words... If you key in a word in english it brings back a screen that shows the phonetic spelling of the word in english characters. It also must be able to display a picture as this particular language is not english character based.. it is in fact similiar to chinese characters in some ways.. Also.. facility should be made to both store and play the word verbally.. i.e. sound files for each word.. The testing would be via random display of the graphical image of the word using the languages special characters.. the response would be in english as to the meaning of the word. Scores would be given and maintained in a data base for a particular user name... i.e. the softeware may have several different members in the family using it.. A photo will be provided to be used as a background image on the data base program... facilities to constantly upgrade and modify the database/software and distribute upgrades must be made.. This is a STAND ALONE program.. not web based.. and will be sold on an individual basis to users.. We are very open to suggestions and miodifications to this concept/idea.. |
