I am looking for a online, web based program. This idea is to help thousands of Australians who show their dogs to better manage everything. It is very difficult to hand write all the details on the form for many breeders who have 20 dogs per show. It is hard to remember what shows they have applied for and where they have to go. HOW IT WILL WORK Individual users will register a username and password. There is no access to this site unless user has registered (free to register). To register they will need the following details: 1. They add their own name, kennel name (if any), address and phone and Australian registration number and breed type (for free allow for up to 1 breed type per user, or they can pay $1.00 per breed thereafter and add as many as they want) Once registered they need to provide the following details: 1. They can add up to 2 dogs overall without paying. This will include the user inputting each individual dogs full name, dogs registration number, dogs mother and father and both their registration numbers, dogs breeder, dogs owner and number, dogs date of birth, dogs height at the shoulder. A place for a signature. (after 2 dogs it's $2.00 registration per dog per year able to pay by credit card, paypal or cheque) All the details above are important to print a show form that is exactly the same as the original provided by the Australian Kennel Association. Any details missing the person will not be able to register and the form is useless. A show form will be provided in PDF format. 3. Once the users own details and dogs details are inputted the user can request at anytime to make a show form for as many dogs as they have registered with us. THE FORM The form is simple and easy. 1. The user should be able to add by clicking on the dogs name(s) that they want to register for a dog show. 2. They select a show name (or) have the ability to input a show name and save the name. 3. The user inputs the cost of the show and the cost of the catalogue. The user can print individual forms for each dog. WHAT THE PROGRAM NEEDS TO DO 1. The program needs to be able to look at the age of the animal and determine the correct class it should be entered into (this should be editable by the user) I can provide the class details. Class is determined by age. 2. The program should be able to recall the dogs parents names and parents registered numbers and input it into the form, the system should be able to recall the registered number of each dog the name, owners name and their registered number and input it on the form. THE PROGRAM Should be able to show and print a calendar of dog shows they have applied for and the dogs that are entered into each show. The program should be able to provide an area for the user to place the results of each dog per show. The program then can provide a resume of each dog displaying picture jpg, full name, owner, breed type, kennel name and show history. This can be sent via email or printed. Most people using this system will have minimal computing skills so needs to be very basic. |
