==== NOTE: If you bid on this project, please be sure you have a basic ground knowledge of what BitTorrent is and how it works. ==== I have a script on my site that auto-refreshes every x minutes and decodes torrent files. The script analyzes the files and gets peers (seeders/leechers), announce URL's (trackers), the file names and sizes of the file "contents". Up untill about two weeks ago, the script worked just fine (so to say), but recently it has stopped analyzing and now gets stuck after 2 or 3 files. As I have very little training in PHP and mySQL, so I have no idea what has happened. I am thinking it may have something to do with the increased load of .torrent files being uploaded on my site, but I could easily be wrong about that. I. The first part of the project is to fix this issue, so that the script updates file stats regularly, like it used to. II. The second part of the project is about getting more information and statistics from the torrent files, which should be put into an already established database, so I can display it on the site. - The torrents' peer count (seeders/leechers) is not able to get peers from every torrent. This is a bug or mistake in the script that needs to be fixed. I simply don't know how to do it myself, but I do know that other torrent sites don't usually have this problem. It may or may not have something to do with chars being used in file names that are not supported by mySQL. - Get the info_hash value of the torrent. - Seeders and Leechers are currently being displayed separatly, which is good, but I also need these two numbers to be put together so I can display the total number of peers on each torrent. - Torrent content sizes are currently being displayed with the KB, MB, GB etc.. extensions. The script should also display every file-size in KB without the extension, which will make it a lot easier for me to sort listings by file size. - Get the total number of files from torrent. I think that pretty much sums it up. Basically, what I want is to be able to display as much information about the torrent files as possible.
