The company I work for is setting up a horoscope website. The website offers people a chance to view their daily horoscope in video format and text format, and a tool (e.g. a blog) to contact other people. It will also have a gift section/store to sell products. The video will consist of a 3D avatar that moves and speaks (there will be 12 avatars, one for each horoscope). Email me (patrickstewart@618inc.com)to see the avatars we would like to use along with the website plan and wireframe. One of your jobs will be to animate these avatars in 3D format so that their body moves and their lips move as well (so it looks like they are speaking). The words that come out their mouths will be from an audio file that we layer over the video. As you may know, horoscopes change daily, so you would need to program the website so that a new voice-over appears daily for each avatar. We will record the horoscope audio files and write the horoscopes for the first month and give them to you to upload onto the site when you program it. For the following months, we will upload the audio and text files ourselves. What you will need to do: Core Site 1a. Create a site with all the pages shown on the wireframe. 1b. Program the site so only 12 videos and text horoscopes are accessible per day to users. 1c. Program the site so that these 12 horoscopes are updated every day. Control Panel Admin Interface 2a. Create a back-end tool that allows us to manage our audio files and the written horoscopes i.e. add, delete them etc. 2b. Create a login point for certain areas of the website. Log in will be free, all users have to do is supply an email, password and contact number (optional). 2c. Create a database to store this information Store 2d. Create a store that uses PayPal. Social Networking Module 3. Create a social network tool so users can contact each other e.g. a blog. Users should also be able to create a short profile of themselves. Animated Avatars 4. Create 12 animated 3D avatars whose mouth moves so it looks like she is speaking (we already have the avatar images). Mobile Application 5a. Create an app for the iphone/blackberry so people can receive their horoscopes straight to their phone. Mobile Site Alternative 5b. Create a separate site designed for mobile phones and devices, using all relevant pages and information. We would like bidders to provide a quote for the whole project, a breakdown of the cost of everything mentioned and a proposal.
