Project Description:
I was hoping to have the template in question from templatemonster adjusted in certain specific ways. The easier portion I believe would involve exchanging certain default pictures that are included with the template to ones more attuned to the purpose of the site. For the flash intro at the top, replacing the default logo and "Company Name" with the name of the company (Tech Support Delivered) with the domain being www.techsupportdelivered.com while also changing some of the clickable area names. Making the "Contact Us" section include a little form that allows the user to quickly and easily provide an email sent to us. Allow them to select their topic and message content. Have an area where the user can register and log into the site. Where they have to provide a username and password. Include a valid email address to register on the site. Have a form that will basically allow them to describe what their problem is they need us to resolve. Include various fields without making any of them required in case the user does not know how to obtain the information, while having a section at the top of the form that clearly states, "The more specific information you're able to provide us with concerning the problem(s) you're experiencing, the easier it will be for us to help you.". Sections should include: 1. Manufacturer: 2. Model Number: 3. Operating System: For the manufacturer selection, I would like the ability to add or remove selection from a drop down pick list for that answer. Ranging from the most popular brands like Dell, Gateway, HP, etc... to a selection for "Generic" and "Built it myself". For the operating system, a selection next to it that has a radio button selection for 32-bit or 64-bit. A text box below these selections entitled, "Description of problem:". I want it to give the user the option of selecting a date from a calendar. Then a selection for a preference of morning or afternoon. Then a selection of choosing a specific desired appointment time as optional. Request they include a contact number with the best time to reach them. Then a section where the user puts in the address for where the work is to be performed. I was also thinking of adding a section allowing for them to mail the system to me directly, but I don't think that's necessary at this stage. Something to think about for the future though I suppose. Have the information that was gathered emailed to sales@techsupportdelivered.com and have the ability of an "administrative" login of some kind for the site that will enable checking on various features including making adjustments to the customer forms. Also, there will be something standard included for the registration process allowing customers through the site to retrieve their password (have it mailed to them). I just want them to use their primary email address as their login name for the site. That way it avoids confusion if there's simply something advising (or reminding) them of this. The average person only has 2-4 email addresses at most typically. One thing I didn't mention though that would be nice is if it would be a problem to include a little login for me on the site that would allow me to review existing users. If I ever need to get a hold of a customer's information down the road. Something that would allow me to organize them according to either last login, date registered, name, location, etc... something that would prove useful. Especially in case I can't remember their name if it's going to be a search field for the database of users. Oh, and something that would allow me to change the "News" section I'd like to have on the main page (or whatever it is determined to label it as) to inform anyone visiting the site of any changes to the services or upcoming specials, referral discounts, etc.. something that would allow me to easily update price quotes for various services and make real-time adjustments to existing prices. I was also thinking about implementing a payment system utilizing Paypal. Including options for subscriptions to be selected for customers looking for a contractual agreement over long-term for monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, twice a year, or yearly payments. With discounts provided for paying for longer periods of support. |
