WEBSITE DETAILS The actual site is a social site for 3 distinct user groups, (A, B, and C) featuring forums, chat rooms and user generated content. Each of the 3 user groups will have their own customized ??rea??page. We have a template for the intro page which will lead on the ??rea??home pages for the 3 user groups. We intend to keep costs down by using either a Joomla or Drupal template, depending on the programmer?? preference. Both of these have the ability to login as well as other options depending on the costs of the site itself! We are looking to have the site up and running ASAP. SOFTWARE We are using Emeeting v9 (WE HAVE THIS SOFTWARE) as the member user info/ search ability and would prefer to use this as the engine for such; we would like the member search area to be accessible on the area home page as well as the Emeeting pages. The forum is Vbulletin 3.8.4, (WE HAVE THIS SOFTWARE) Both these pieces of software ARE compatible with each other, and the Emeeting software has a forum integration page. USERGROUPS Possibly the hardest criteria we have is that we wish to have the users separated, for example, users ????would only see search results and content posted by other ????users, (unless they change their registration to allow to more visibility). It would be useful if other members could still identify the original area that other member signed up to |
