Project Description:
Requirements: 1. Create an Ogre3D based application with Mesh and Material LoD control 2. 3D scene will have X number of 3D objects. Each object has 5 levels of mesh LoD and material LoD 3. Material LoD is in terms of shader techniques. The techniques range from simple to heavy computation. Alright to make use of procedural shaders if available (optional). 4. LoD selection for mesh and techniques is based on distance and screen space occupance for each object. 5. There is a wrapper function to set the LoD parameters 6. The time to render each object has to be logged 7. The polygon/primitive count per object has to be logged 8. Each object's geometry and material LoD level has to be logged 9. Able to record camera path when user navigates scene |
