| Project Description:
I have a database that contains thousands of records for each of the reports I need to generate. Currently I read each record and programmatically add the values in some of the columns, but it is obviously very slow to work this way. What I need is a good DBA that can write a query that will retrieve say 10,000 records and add the values in the columns. Example: Database record: account, user, debits_dollars, credit_dollars, adjustment_dollars, total_value. I want to retrieve all the records and produce for example total_debits, total_credits, total_value by user and another query that produces the same by records but but user. |
