| Project Description:
We have a chat system which was previously developed using flash and flash communications server(now known as flash media server). The chat system allows members to chat online using an msn style chat to other online members. This would be done using a listener which is loaded when a member logs and which listens out for chat requests. Users can perform members searches and if a member is currently online they can request a chat whch is picked up by the listener and providing the member accepts will bring up a chat window on each of the member's screens which will allow these members to chat. The majority of the code has been written for the chat server and version 1 has been released. The chat has now stopped working and we need a flash programmer to get it working again. We think the problem is probably straight forward for an experienced flash developer with experience in flash media/communication server. All the code for the current chat listener and chatboxes will be provided. The work should lead to more work in the future since we will require updates to the chat. Any programmers must have experience of using flash media server or flash communication server. |
