Project Description:

This project is about developing a facebook application in PHP, using the facebook api and the facebook php api/library.

project requirements: a facebook application (app), which is an extension to an existing e-commerce shop. facebook users can add the application, invite their friends to add this application, and purchase by sending money to this application. activity is shown to other people, for example, in facebook you should see ??our friends John Doe just purchased goods for $5 from application!??
for invites and purchases users get karmapoints. for adding the app, you get 1 karmapoint. for inviting new friends, you get 1 karmapoint each (if they really do add the application!). per $10 you purchase you get 1 karmapoint. karmapoints are visible between users of the application and are also broadcasted as advertisement, for example: ??ohn Doe just reached 100 karmapoints and is way ahead of you!??
there should be some statistics available to see in facebook, for example number of users, total payments, etc.

you should code the facebook application only! no payment processing, no frontend, no user management, no product catalogue, etc; just the skeleton for facebook.

general requirements:

- you must code in PHP5; you must code everything object-oriented (in classes), so that it's nicely usable as an API.

- all variables, functions and class names must have easily readable and understandable, english names. for example: function addUserComment()

- parts of code which are hard to understand, complicated or demand special knowledge should be well-documented using inline comments (/* */)

- for additional questions or detailed information please ask!!
