We need a experienced Joomla developer with design skill. Upgrade an old Joomla site. It's actually built on Mambo before it became Joomla, so it's not really a upgrade, guess you have to build the new site with Joomla 1.5 from scratch, replicate what we already have and add some new functions. It's for a swimming school, major existing functions include: 1. Registration Upon students (or their parents) register on site, they fill in following information (not completed, just for example): student name birthday address city zipcode parent name home phone mobile phone class level class location class time ..... ..... According to the class LOCATION they chosen, they are assigned to a particular GROUP. At the end of registration process, they need to print out a registration form along with payment information (ask them to send out form and tuition). 2. In backend, admin need to EASILY operate these functions: move students to different group. ( so that the class is over, all students in that class are moved to a special group called Graduated, or assign student to a different group) pull out list of students that belong to a certain group or multiple groups send out newsletter (email) to a particular group in admin backend search student by name / email / group 3. Image Gallery on front page. Need a image gallery component. Admin can EASILY update / manage image gallery in admin. No need be fancy, but need to be easy to use. Not open to students to update images 4. Others Will use a template from joomlart or one you think would be a good fit (must be a free one though). The top banner (logo) from old site will stay, so the template at your choice need to match with that. Template has to be neat and attractive. Turn on Joomla built-in SEO Old content need to move to new site, not many pages, it's less than ten ( all static pages ), you can just manually migrate them. No need to migrate existing users. You have freedom to choose module components as long as you meet requirement. For example, the registration / group, you can either use some user profile extension or some free class component. It's a small budget site, but you will be rewarded with future project. We will give more detailed docs for the bidders we shortlist. |
