The project is to build an app for booking taxis, quite similar to: http://itunes.apple.com/ie/app/addison-lee/id365882551?mt=8 http://itunes.apple.com/ie/app/city-cabs-edinburgh-ltd/id410816146?mt=8 I have a full set of wireframes with 12 screens produced in balsamiq (http://balsamiq.com/) in PDF format which I will supply to selected bidders. The app needs to be skinnable and retrieve its skin configuration from some sort of resource file or bundle. This would include colour scheme, on screen icons, etc. When the app starts it should contact a pre-configured web site URL to receive updates to the skin parameters which are returned in JSON format. This will need to be performed on a background thread or asynchronous method, allowing the user to use the app unaffected rather than blocking on the HTTP GET. I also need all on screen text to be in a resource file so the app can be easily localised. The booking process involves using the MapKit API to search for addresses based on key words. The results will be viewable as a textual list of addresses and separately on a map. The matches will be constrained to a pre-set area of the map in which the taxi company operates (e.g. an area of Chicago), this will be stored in the skin parameters as two geographical points, each with a longitude and latitude. This is intended to avoid getting irrelevant search matches from around the world. The user will be able to refine their selected location using a map view with a fixed pin, the map scrolling under the pin similar to the app http://itunes.apple.com/ie/app/uber/id368677368?mt=8. Once the booking details have been captured, the booking is submitted by POSTing to a pre-defined URL, again stored in the skin parameter set. I would like to get indicative quotations now and then I will send selected bidders the wireframes for a final quote. Please include references to apps you have developed ideally using these technologies. I want to receive the full source code and build / packaging scripts and instructions. I will also need instructions on how to modify the skin parameters and main app icon. I am a Java developer with no knowledge of Objective-C and iOS. I will expect the app to be completely bug free. Cost will be a key consideration in the selection. |
