| Project Description:
We have about 10,000 JPG files that are 6 megapixel photographs. We need them cropped to a nice viewing size that centers the subject (baseball players) in each photo. Some will look best portrait mode, some landscape mode. Cropping can be done with any photo editing program, and needs to be done to 5 x 7 aspect ratio in all cases (either portrait or landscape). Each cropping action should take less than 20 seconds to crop and save as JPG, with half of that time being using judgment to center the subject and the rest to crop and save as JPG. Will have photos in sets of approximately 1,000, and would like turnaround in 1 week for each 1,000. Likely total hours between 50 and 75 depending on how fast person can crop each photo. No other editing required, just crop to 5 x 7 and save as JPG., update as of 5/7/06 - it appears we may only have 1,000 photos for this project this year, and then next March-April-May will resume having 10,000 per year.
