Bids for New Logo and Website Design using CSS ChineseCommunity.ca Introduction: ChineseCommunity.ca is seeking bids for a new logo and website design layout using CSS. If you are interested in submitting a bid please read on for background and bidding details. Important Notes: ChineseCommunity.ca will determine at its sole discretion whether to accept any bid, or none. The bid will be on a "work for hire" basis, and the winner will be our outsource team. Submitted drafts will only be used if we choose you.ĦĦĦĦMake sure you specify pricing for this work; bids without pricing will be ignored. All questions must be made via email, no phone calls. All bids must be submitted by email to bid@ChineseCommunity.ca. Background: ChineseCommunity.ca will be a new Chinese Community in Toronto, Canada. Requirements: New logo that represents all 3 elements of Chinese, Community and information. Web page design incorporating new logo, for both home and inner page. You may also put the files on a web server, and send us a URL to access them. We like the logo: Looks simple, clean, "friendly", and "modern". Roughly symmetrical dimensions in proportion (neither tall and narrow, nor short and wide). Works well for both print and web (no color gradients, bright colors, etc.). Looks good in embroidery (polo shirts, baseball caps, etc.). Works well with sans serif body fonts like Helvetica and Arial. Scales well, from business card to banner sizes. We like the website: Looks simple, clean, "friendly", and "modern". Emphasis is on graphics and contents are kept to a minimum. Header and sidebar elements are "thin". Clean background in black or white. Moderate use of serif "arty" fonts is OK. CSS layout, no tables, NO FRAMES. Submissions: Original source files, editable in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop Web-ready PDF, GIF, JPEG, PNG, or PSD files Color and printing specifications |
